A Change to the rules
Just when you think this wacky world of diabetes can’t get any wackier it does. This morning, we learned that Abbott is facing a class action lawsuit related to the tracking tools related to the Libre platform. The lawsuit alleges that tracking tools on Abbott’s FreeStyle Libre website expose private consumer information without their knowledge or consent. A lawsuit which could have greater impact now that Abbott is selling the Lingo OTC.
Speaking of the two new OTC sensors the Stelo from Dexcom and the forementioned Lingo from Abbott it should be noted they face a different set . . .
