We know it really doesn’t matter as you can listen to these podcasts anytime but still it’s nice to be back on schedule with our Wednesday edition of the Wacky World of Diabetes. Today’s guest none other than Shacey Petrovic CEO of Insulet.
We’re not sure who said it but the best laid plans of mice and men never had to deal with technology. Maybe it was Momma Kliff but whoever said it was 100% correct. We’ve been trying to keep with our Wednesday podcast schedule but due to technical issues this our 11th podcast is now finally ready to go. Today’s guest is none other than Jeff Dachis Founder and CEO of OneDrop.
We hope to get back on our normal Wednesday schedule next week when our guest will be Shacey Petrovic President and CEO of Insulet. Yes we have invited the folks at Medtronic to be a guest as we have the folks at Abbott but as of yet all we hear is radio silence.
Enjoy the weekend everyone.
In case anyone hasn’t noticed there is a virtual toy fair going on this week with ATTD. Yes lots of data, lots of way cool whiz bang lots of pontificating and in the end nothing much really changes all that much. That is unless you’re the CEO of the most innovative toy in diabetes history which is why we are so pleased to release another Wacky World of Diabetes podcast with our guest Kevin Sayer CEO of Dexcom.
Most experts agree that CGM has been the most transformative diabetes device to come along in the last decade. Here Kevin’s thoughts about today tomorrow and beyond.
The Padres and White Sox aren’t the only teams on a roll recently as here at Diabetic Investor we continue to knock out podcasts. Now before we get into todays edition of the Wacky World a few items
1. The Wacky World of Diabetes Podcast is FREE and can be shared with anyone
2. Podcasts can be found on our site, Apple and Spotify – please note podcasts are found searching The Wacky World of Diabetes not Diabetic Investor
3. Although it might seem like it but we are not against having pharma on a podcast and we have reached out to Lilly and Novo Nordisk but so far no luck – we’ll continue to try
Ok onto todays podcast and we’re pleased to have Tandem Diabetes CEO John Sheridan, next we’ll have another San Diego executive Kevin Sayer CEO of Dexcom but will head back to the east coast after that with Jeff Dachis CEO of OneDrop. There’s even more after that so stay tuned.
We could not be more pleased to deliver yet another outstanding edition of The Wacky World of Diabetes podcast. Our guest today is a truly outstanding individual who has made and continues to make a deep and lasting impression on our wacky world. Please welcome to my Wacky World Phil Southerland CEO &Founder of Team Novo Nordisk, CEO & Founder of SuperSapiens, author and all-around great guy.
We are pleased to announce another edition of the Wacky World of Diabetes podcast. This podcast was a true pleasure for me as I have known Nadia Al-Samarrie since my very first ADA conference.
With the ADA conference staring June 25th we have also decided to release weekly editions of the Wacky World of Diabetes podcast and have picked that date as the release for our special report The Convergence of Forces. And before we go on here it’s important to clarify that the Special Report is NOT included with your subscription however we are discounting the cost of the report for existing subscribers.
Ok onto the podcast schedule in the que and scheduled for release before the start of ADA are Phil Southerland from Team Novo Nordisk, John Sheridan Tandem Diabetes, Kevin Sayer Dexcom, Jeff Dachis OneDrop and Amy Tenderich DiabetesMine. But that’s only before the ADA after the ADA we have even more great podcasts coming your way.
Well here it is ladies and gentlemen the podcast you’ve long been waiting for The Three Amigos, The Sultans of Swat, the Kings of Swing – yep here in one podcast three giants in the world of diabetes – Dr. Satish Garg – Dr. Irl Hirsch and Dr. Steven Edelman – now if you don’t know these three gentlemen Momma Kliff would say shame on you. We should also note that yes we do have the full unedited version which we plan to auction off to benefit diabetes research – just kidding but the outtakes are pretty damn funny. Enjoy everyone
We should note that this and all podcast are published first here and then a day later on all the various podcast services.
Before we get into our latest podcast just a quick note on our last post regarding the Dexcom/Apple deal – it helps to read the entire post and pay attention to the DATE of the post. As Momma Kliff used to say don’t believe everything you read especially when it’s published on April Fool’s Day.
Now onto our latest podcast which features David Panzirer of Helmsley Trust fame. David offers some interesting views on our wacky world so take a listen. On deck we have the Three Amigo’s -three giants in diabetes Dr. Satish Garg – Dr. Steven Edelman and Dr. Irl Hirsch – this is one outstanding podcast so stay tuned.
