Whose choice is it?
There is no question that AI will play a greater role in diabetes management in the future. Now that almost every toy in the toy chest works with a smartphone we have the computing power necessary to run AI. The question isn’t whether AI will be adapted into diabetes management but when and how it will be adapted into diabetes management. Which brings another unasked question will patients accept it, reject it or rebel against it.
In its purist form AI is supercomputer that can crunch numbers in milliseconds. It can analyze mountains of data quickly and is programed . . .
