World Diabetes Day – So What?
Since I happen to believe that World Diabetes Day is like a Hallmark holiday, an event invited to make advocates happy. I was just going to let it pass with no snarky comments about how this like everything else in our wacky world is about money. Organizations like the ADA and Breakthrough Type 1 love today as it’s a great fundraising tool. Every Omnipod or Dexcom or GLP1 wannabe loves it as they can use it to promote their copycat idea and fatten their own bank accounts.
Sorry but diabetes is a global epidemic which is costing patients . . .
