What’s worth fighting for
When Abbott reported earnings last week CEO Robert Ford correctly noted on a global basis there are approximately 15 million patients using a CGM yet there are another 70 to 80 million who could be using a CGM. During the Dexcom investor day CEO Jake Leach noted that expanding reimbursement is an area of focus for the company. A sentiment shared by Mr. Ford. I mention this not to show there is still plenty of room for growth when it comes to CGM. I mention it because Breakthrough Type 1 and the ADA should be helping Dexcom and Abbott in . . .
