Uncharted Territory
It’s an understatement to say things are different now that President Trump has taken office. Since taking office back in late January there has been a flurry of activity that directly impacts our wacky world of diabetes. It’s an open question how tariffs will change the dynamics of diabetes devices. The same can be said about the dramatic cuts at the FDA which hit diabetes very hard.
These on again off again tariffs make it difficult for any device company to plan ahead. Do they find alternate suppliers? Do they bring manufacturing back to the US? Are there . . .
