Trouble from an unlikely source
When it comes to the insulin pump market there are certain pesky facts that everyone needs to wrap their arms around.
1. The market is NOT large enough NOR is it growing fast enough to support all the existing players let alone all the wannabes.
2. The pharmacy channel pay as you go model brings benefits and creates problems.
3. The DME channel is not dead yet and still plays an important role for now.
4. International markets are becoming a more important battleground.
5. Hardware is NOT the key.
