This is NOT the way.

It was late May 2001 when Medtronic paid almost $4 Billion for MiniMed. In 2002 Terry Gregg left MiniMed only to resurface later as CEO of Dexcom. Ironically, he was replaced at Medtronic MiniMed by Kevin Sayer who is the now the current CEO of Dexcom. These were the last two qualified individuals to run what is now called Medtronic Diabetes. Not surprisingly both Mr. Gregg and Mr. Sayer worked with the late Al Mann the founder of MiniMed. Say what you will about Al and his quirkiness, but he did assemble some of the finest talent ever under one . . .
