This is not going to end well.
When it comes to diabetes technology there are numerous hurdles a company must overcome to achieve commercial success. There are three basic rules:
1. Can you make the toy and get it approved by the FDA.
2. Can you get the toy into the hands of paying customers.
3. Can you support the people using the toy.
Even if the company can clear all of these hurdles there is no guarantee they will be commercially successful. As there is a fourth hurdle to overcome. Can they survive the legal process? When it comes to diabetes technology IP lawsuits are commonplace . . .
