The impossible dream
Yesterday Abbott issued a medical device correction for certain FreeStyle Libre 3 and Libre 3 Plus sensors in the U.S. Per a company issued press release:
“Abbott has initiated a medical device correction for certain FreeStyle Libre 3 and FreeStyle Libre 3 Plus sensors in the United States after internal testing determined that some sensors may provide incorrect low glucose readings.”
This issue impact nearly 3 million sensors and is associated with at least 7 deaths OUS.
This comes after Dexcom was getting beat like a rug over issues associated with G7 sensors. Issues the company publicly . . .
