The Abbott Playbook
In the midst of recalling 3 million sensors Abbott is already looking ahead to their new sensor which will measure both glucose and ketones. The sensor has yet to be submitted to the FDA but most expect baring a major misstep this sensor will become a reality. Abbott is already spending a considerable amount of money to develop a market for the sensor.
