Not the answer
This morning Tandem announced that the FDA has approved their latest way cool whiz bang new toy the Mobi. Since the Street is fascinated by new toys and doesn’t understand how things really work shares of Tandem as we write are up over 14%, which isn’t saying much actually given how far shares have fallen. Here’s why the Mobi as interesting as it is – is NOT the answer for Tandem.
1. The system will NOT go into full distribution until 2024.
2. Medtronic has the 780G here NOW and just received Medicare reimbursement.
