Let’s count them up
Based on the number of existing and wannabe players you’d think the insulin pump was large enough and growing fast enough to support them all. Let me clue you in on something this is not the case. Which means lots of stakeholders, VC’s and other investors are in for some very unpleasant news.
Right now, Insulet, Tandem, MiniMed, Beta Bionics and Sequel have FDA approved platforms on the market. Modular Medical has an FDA approved platform and a new one going to the FDA. Then there are a host of wannabes who have their way cool whiz bang . . .
