Just how many is too many?
There comes a point when you have to wonder how many toys, we need in the toy chest. As it stands today there are 3 FDA approved CGM systems and 3 established insulin pump companies. Yes, the diabetes device market has room for growth but not so much growth to support all the CGM and insulin pump wannabes. The simplest way to think about this is like the game of musical chairs. Each time the music stops another chair is taken away making it even more difficult.
