Is Waymo the future?
Since transitioning from San Deigo to Scottsdale one of the stranger things I have noticed here are Waymo driverless cars. You can’t help but freak a little when one of these very distinct white vehicles pulls alongside you and there is no one no person driving the car. It’s even stranger seeing people get into these driverless cars just like they would any Uber or Lyft.
I often wonder how quick these vehicles respond to unanticipated events, a car stopping quickly or a someone like me on my bike riding in the bike lane. Ironically, I have yet . . .
