Is something brewing?
Tomorrow afternoon Senseonics will report full year and fourth quarter results which frankly for us is pretty much a non-event. As we have stated consistently Senseonics has a great product but a bad business model. We aren’t against implantable sensors there just isn’t a large enough market.
However as we consistently note CGM is hotter than Georgia asphalt as it is becoming the standard for glucose measurement. It’s also true there are plethora of Dexcom/Abbott wannabes and Senseonics actually has a product that works and its commercially available. Let's also throw in the fact . . .
