If it walks like a …..
Before CGM was all the rage the in thing was finding the Holy Grail of diabetes a non-invasive glucose monitor. Everyone and I do mean everyone thought that this was a can’t miss product because patients would no longer suffer through painful fingersticks. Millions perhaps billions were thrown at this technology and yep there is no FDA approved Holy Grail.
It was fun covering these companies most of which were designed not to find a Holy Grail but to separate investors from their money. The pattern was typical first they would have an amazing PowerPoint presentation that would . . .
