Game, Set, Match
Now that Insulet has prevailed over EOFlow in court here are where things stand.
1. Insulet now has open field running as there isn’t a credible threat on the horizon.
2. Every Omnipod wannabe now has a one more hurdle to overcome.
3. Medtronic and CEO Geoff Martha should send Insulet a bottle more like a case of good champagne. Thanks to Insulet Medtronic did not waste nearly $800 million nor suffer the embarrassment which is priceless.
4. It’s unlikely Insulet will collect the $400 plus million they were awarded as EOFlow will likely declare bankruptcy . . .
