Are we our own worst enemy?
Today is Diabetes Alert Day which is supposed “alert” people about diabetes. Keep me in mind we also have World Diabetes Day November 14th which is appropriate as November is American Diabetes Month. Now I have no idea who comes up with these days but my personal favorite being from Chicago is July 19th National Hot Dog Day. I am not aware of a world hot dog day or month.
No disrespect to whoever comes up with these days but what exactly are they hoping to accomplish with this alert day. Yes, the statistics tell us there are approximately 9 . . .
